Our family consists of Edwin, Heleen, Nick (1998), identical twins Natasja and Melissa (2000) and our enthusiastic cocker spaniel Bo. We have been living in Fluitenberg since 1993. A small village, lying approx 1 kilometer from the A28 motorway, (exit 27 Fluitenberg) easily accessible and well situated next to Hoogeveen, central in the province of Southwest Drenthe.
We look forward to welcoming you in our hospitable environment and to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You can enjoy our very beautiful location, where you can also sit outside, sheltered and covered, on your own terrace with a wide view with lots of privacy.
From all accommodations you have a view of our deer, alpacas, chickens and from the early spring also of the storks that made the nest on the pole at the back of our land habitable.
On our property, next to the country house, there are 3 detached buildings, 2 animal shelters and a chicken coop in the shape of a haystack. The cutting shed in which the Lodges are housed is partly in the animal meadow of 5,000 m2 where our deer, alpacas and chickens can easily move. Our curious animals can take a look through the windows in the Lodges, which sometimes creates funny situations.
In short, we love people and making contacts in a wonderful free, spacious and relaxing place to stay!
