Our family consists of Edwin, Heleen, son Nick (1998), the identical twins Natasja and Melissa (2000) and our enthusiastic dog Bo. (cocker spaniel) Since 1993 we live in Fluitenberg; a small village, only 0,5 mile from the A28 motorway, (exit 27 Fluitenberg) easily accessible and well situated next to Hoogeveen in the province of Southwest Drenthe.
Our location covers almost 10.000 m2 and is located on the central road that runs through the village and since 2016 we live in one of the most beautiful and rural homes in Fluitenberg.
We purchased our current location at the end of 2015 and in 2016 the house has undergone a major renovation. In 2017, the outdoor area was renewed including new paving and 80 trucks with black soil were added to raise the animal pasture and the fencing for the animal pasture was completely renewed. In addition, a beautiful authentic wooden barn has been built. This wooden barn has been transformed into a true outdoor residence.
On our property are next to the country house, also located 2 detached barns, 2 animal houses and a chicken coop in the form of a haystack. The wooden barn is part of the 5.000m2 animal meadow where our deer, alpacas and chickens can roam freely. Our curious animals can look through the windows at the back of the barn, which sometimes results in funny situations.
In short, a wonderful free, spacious and relaxing place to stay!
We love traveling and people and we love to meet new people and Heleen, with the arrival of her own Bed and Breakfast, is therefore very much in her element to be able to take care of our guests.
We ensure that you have a pleasant stay with us!
